Meet the Team
Geo Goer, MHA
Geo earned his Master of Healthcare Administration degree and served as a Medical Service Corps Officer in the U.S. Navy. He was responsible for all internal Healthcare Hospital Business Operations and maintains partnerships with external organizations. He personally consulted several healthcare organizations and managed operations, analyze past performance, and strategize for future value. Islands Healthcare Consultants was founded through the passion in assisting healthcare organizations care for our community.
Gerald Richardson, MD, EdM
Dr. Gerald Richardson is a board-certified psychiatrist with specific interests in medical education and healthcare leadership. He graduated top of his class at the University of Central Florida, earned a Master of Education from Harvard University, and completed his Medical Degree at the University of Florida. He taught thousands of students as an instructor through online courses and a test prep company he founded. He actively engages in medical education research, lectures medical students, and participates in national organizations to champion advancements in the fields of medicine.
Luan Nguyen, MD
Dr. Luan Nguyen is a family physician at American Medical Center, the largest outpatient medical center in the region. He was named the best family physician in Guam in 2020 and 2021. Dr. Nguyen is the founder and CEO of NEWGEN, a physical therapy and wellness clinic. He was the former #1 Men's tennis player in Guam by age 15 and went to play Division 1 tennis for the University of Maryland Terrapins. Dr. Nguyen joined Islands Healthcare Consultants to create a positive sum game within the island nations' healthcare system. He strives to help neighboring healthcare organizations bring safe, efficient, and effective care for the community.
